Playoffs Day 14

There were no games 2 days ago so I couldn't post. Yesterday though there was and the second round started and the first round ended. The islanders beat the Lightning in round 1 5-3 with Ben Bishop being pulled along the way . Cal Clutterbuck, John Tavares, Travis Hamonic, and Shane Prince scored twice to lead the Islanders to a game 1 win on the road. Ondrej Palat, Valtteri Filppula, and Nikita Kucherov lit the lamp for the Bolts. The Ducks lost their 4th straight game 7 loss at home 2-1 with 36 saves from Pakka Rinne. Colin Wilson and Paul Gaustad scored in the first period for the Preds. Ryan Kesler was the only scorer for the Ducks. The Ducks had a terrible start, but had a whirlwind of a season to end up being first in the division and once again being the favorites, lose in a game 7. The Predators have made the second round or the first time since 2012. They will be playing the San Jose Sharks for round 2. Will Ben Bishop have a bounce back? Are the Predators contenders?
