There will be a new Stanley cup champion this year. The Blues beat the defending champions 3-2 in game 7 and the Blues will play the Dallas Stars for round 2. Jori Lehtera, Colton Parayko, and Troy Brouwer scored for the Blues with Brouwer scoring the game winner with 11 minutes left. The Blues have finally made it to the second round after losing in the first round 3 year in a row losing to the Kings 2013, Blackhawks 2014, and the Wild in 2015 so this is something good for the Blues. The Predators beat the Ducks 3-1 at home to force a game 7. Shea Weber, James Neal and Mattias Ekholm scored the empty netter. Ryan Kesler was the only scorer for the Ducks. Game 7 will be home for the Ducks. Can the Blues upset the Stars? Will the Blackhawks bounce back? Who will step up for game 7? stay tuned.... (P.S this post is short because there was only 2 games.)
