NHL as of January 24th

This week was an interesting one that had a crazy comeback, lots of scoring, a goalie pulled twice in the same game a four goal period, and a trade. On the 18th the Red Wings and Bruins were playing a game were the Bruins were winning 4-1 at one point, and the Red Wings stormed back to win the game 6-5 in a shootout and that was just crazy and surly made a Leafs fan happy. The Capitals once again had a 7 goal game this time they won against the Blues 7-3. Jake Allen allowed 2 goals on the first three shots of the game so he got pulled for a mental reset. He was put in a few minutes later and allowed 2 more goals on 7 more shots and got pulled for the second time in the same game.
Patrick Marleau yesterday had a 4 goal third period including a natural hat trick against the Avalanche that propelled the Sharks to a 5-2 victory. A trade has happened between the Sharks and Senators today that has Tommy Wingels going to Ottawa in exchange for Buddy Robinson, Zack Stortini, and a 7th round pick for this years draft. I should also note that Patrick Laine is returning to action tonight along. Also Kings goalie Jonathan Quick who has been injured all year will be out until March and that might just keep the Kings out of the playoffs. Can the Capitals keep up the scoring? Is Jake Allen going to bounce back? Who won the trade? stay tuned....
