As you can see that's a lot of injuries for star players. Connor McDavid got his first NHL hatrick against the Dallas Stars last night which is ironic because he got his first NHL goal against the Stars. Also 2 days ago Matt Calvert of the Blue Jackets to a slap shot to the face and ended up scoring the game winning goal against the Rangers to make the Blue Jackets amazing start even better. The Brooklyn Islanders I mean the New York Islanders have fallen to last place along with the Arizona Coyotes with 14 points and the Canadiens are only 2 points ahead of the Blackhawks for 1st place.
